CEDAR RAPIDS, IA, July 5, 2011 /Engineering PR News/ -- Duane A. Green, Technical Director of Skyworks Solutions, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of communications engineering.
Duane A. Green brings 23 years of professional experience to Skyworks Solutions, a manufacturer of semiconductors for radio frequency and mobile communications systems. A noted expert in microwave integrated circuit, GPS receiver and power amplifier design, he is responsible for managing design engineers, overseeing projects and a staff of eight, planning strategies, and guiding team members in all technical aspects.
Prior to joining Skyworks, Mr. Green lent his talents to the defense sector, and was enticed to venture into the communications industry because it presented him with more interfacing with customers, quicker market turnaround and greater influence on the end product. Honored with an Engineer of the Year Award by Rockwell International, he attributes his successful transition to his diligence and faith in God.
Mr. Green earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering in 1986 from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He gives generously to the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army.
