Dick to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of his exceptional effort in the Engineering Industry. As Managing Director of Taranaki Engineering, as well as throughout his incredible 35 year professional career, Murray has consistently demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
Taranaki Engineering is a New Plymouth based structural steel fabrication and steel erection company. The company concentrates on three principle areas which are: fabrication and pipe work; precision machining and plant maintenance; projects and site services. Taranaki Engineering works on several large projects such as sports stadiums, oil and gas industry structures, and infrastructure. Some of their larger projects have been the Auckland Motorway Upgrade, Kupe Gas Project, and the East End Bridge.
Murray has been the Owner and Managing Director of Taranaki Engineering for the past 10 years. He has 35 years of experience in precision and structural engineering. Murray completed a 4 and a half year apprenticeship in Precision Tool and Die Manufacturing and is in the process of continuing his education in the field. He has been published and performed lectures on numerous occasions. Murray is a charitable individual, performing community service to help displaced children and sponsoring local athletic organizations.
