Maurice Wan Earns Membership With Stanford Who's Who

As a Global Application Engineering Manager for the Oil and Gas Division with Veyance Technologies Inc., as well as throughout his brilliant professional career, Mr. Wan has routinely demonstrated the passion, and vision necessary to be considered among the best.

Veyance Technologies Inc. is a company which manufactures and sells Goodyear Engineered Products branded industrial power transmission products; heavy-duty and lightweight conveyor belts, hydraulics, rubber track; and automotive and heavy-duty truck belts, hose, tensioners, and air springs. The company manufactures products at 8 plants in the United States and 23 plants in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Czech Republic, France, Mexico, Slovenia, South Africa and Venezuela.

Maurice is responsible for managing applications and related products provided by Veyance Technologies globally as well as training clients on how to utilize the products efficiently. He started his career as a plant engineer for a small service company for rotary drilling equipment. Maurice took an overseas assignment in Japan that opened up doors to a wide range of career development opportunities from rubber technology, to renewable energy including offshore engineering, ship-to-ship lightering and access to a multitude of international projects within the Oil and Gas upstream industry. Mr. Wan was the youngest technical service manager ever at his previous company in Japan.

During his collegiate career, Maurice earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary. He is a member of the American Society for Testing and Materials and Ordre des ingenieurs du Quebec. Maurice's success stems from his dedication and perseverance as well as his open mind and love for his profession. He has been published on several occasions and was instrumental in contributing to the development of international technical standards.
