Sasol Mining Pty. Ltd. is an energy and chemicals company which provides coal mining and exploration services. They add value to coal, oil and gas reserves, using these feedstocks to make liquid fuels, fuel components and chemicals through their unique Sasol proprietary techniques. In South Africa, the company refines imported crude oil and retail liquid fuels through their network of retail convenience centers. They also supply fuels to other distributors in the region and gas to industrial clients in South Africa.
Mr. Cooke leads the engineering planning department and he is responsible for operations improvement as well as budgeting and capital management for the mine. During his collegiate career, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Pretoria. Rudi is a member of the South African Mining Association.
