Maguire Group Expands Environmental Capabilities With Growing Energy Services Division

New Hire, Jason Anderson, joins Maguire Group's expanding Energy Services Division, with focus on Marcellus Shale, as the demand for clean and sustainable energy sources increases.

    PITTSBURGH, PA, October 08, 2011 /Engineering PR News/ -- As it continues to expand its environmental capabilities, Maguire Group announces the hiring of Jason Anderson as an Environmental Scientist providing support for Maguire's expanding Energy Services Division. Maguire is pleased to welcome him to its Pittsburgh office, where Jason will report to Brian Sterner, Mid-Atlantic Environmental Manager.

Mr. Anderson received his Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture from West Virginia University, and is well versed in site planning, design, and construction, including erosion and sedimentation control measures and site restoration. In addition to his work on wetland delineations and mitigation, Mr. Anderson is also experienced in Construction Management, including the inspection of storm drainage installations, site grading, and roadway paving.

"The addition of Jason to our team was a key step in the development of our growing Energy Services Division," states Sterner. "He possesses the right mix of 'energy' and experience needed to fully support our existing and future natural gas-related projects, including environmental investigations, GIS analyses, Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plans, and permitting."

Engineering services for Maguire's Energy Services Division is expanding as well, with several Maguire team members, including P.E.s, participating in the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection's (PADEP) Regulatory Training for the Oil and Gas Industry to facilitate the processing of Expedited Review permits.
