Passive Fire Protection Company Announces New Employee
LSS Life Safety Services adds to their fire door inspection team
LOUISVILLE, KY, April 23, 2011 /Engineering PR News/ -- LSS Life Safety Services (LSS), an industry leader in passive fire protection inspection services such as fire damper inspections, fire door inspections, and firestopping services announced today that Mr. Walter M. (Mike) Eckles AHC/CDC, CSI, CDT, CFDAI has joined the company's inspection and fire protection system commissioning team.

"He brings with him a deep knowledge of building codes and has quite an extensive background in fire doors, frames and finish hardware. Mr. Eckles holds multiple certifications from the Door and Hardware Institute and is an Architectural Hardware Consultant (AHC) and a Certified Door Consultant (CDC). He also holds additional certifications with Intertek as a Certified Fire Door Assembly Inspector (CFDAI), and with the Construction Specifications Institute as a Certified Construction Document Technologist (CDT). These certifications will add greatly to LSS' high level of expertise in the field of fire door inspections.
