Claude Dupont Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who

Claude Dupont looks forward to advancing in his career and pursing the position as laboratory manager

    OTTAWA, ON, CANADA, September 10, 2010 /Engineering PR News/ -- Claude Dupont, CET, Senior Legal Metrologist for Measurement Canada, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in administrative operations.

With 19 years of professional experience, Mr. Dupont serves as a senior legal metrologist for Measurement Canada. Specializing in equipment maintenance, his responsibilities entail maintaining cubic feet measurement and conversions, ensuring gas measuring equipment accuracy and compliance throughout the country, calibrating reference meter and equipment. Measurement Canada is a government agency that provides administration and assurance of integrity, equity and accuracy of goods.

Mr. Dupont completed coursework in Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology - Drafting at Algonquin College in 1985. He also received college diploma for Mechanical Engineering Technician in 1996, C Visual Basic and Access Programming in 1997, Electronic Technician in 2000 and Visual Basic.Net Programming in 2009 from ICS Canada. In 1992 he attained his designation as a certified electronics technician with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists. After implementing electronics scale automation for the Mass Laboratory, he was promoted within Measurement Canada. He attributes his success to his commitment and ability to improve processes. In the future, he intends to become a laboratory manager.
