Jorge Titinger Named to Exclusive Membership Organization

Jorge Titinger's company was honored with the Best Test Equipment Supplier for 2010 by VLSI Research.

    SAN JOSE, CA, August 04, 2010 /Engineering PR News/ -- Jorge Titinger, President and Chief Operating Officer of Verigy, Inc. has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in running the operation.

With 25 years of professional experience, Mr. Titinger has attained the position of President and Chief Operating Officer of Verigy, Inc. Verigy provides advanced semiconductor test systems and solutions used by leading companies worldwide in design, validation, characterization and high volume manufacturing test. Specializing in general management and running businesses, Mr. Titinger leads the groups that generate and sell products for Verigy. He leads the product business groups, including marketing and R&D; manages manufacturing and quality operations; leads the Customer Team that is focused on sales, applications and service; and drives initiatives that continue to increase Verigy's capability through operational discipline, and integrates cross-functional activities, leading to improved operational and financial performance. He is also an advisory Board member of Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI), as well as a Board member of the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley and the National Society of Hispanic MBAs; and is a former Board member of Electroglas.

Mr. Titinger received his Master of Science in Engineering Management from Stanford University, and both Master and Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford. Prior to his position with Verigy, he held several executive level positions at FormFactor, Inc., KLA-Tencor and Applied Materials. In the future, he intends to lead Verigy to continued success, and participate in more public company boards.
