Grady D. Carney is involved with the development of a free education program at his church.
NEW YORK, NY, August 24, 2010 /Engineering PR News/ -- Grady D. Carney, Associate Professor for the New York Institute of Technology, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.
At the New York Institute of Technology, Dr. Carney instructs undergraduate students in general and applied chemistry, engineering chemistry, physical chemistry, quantitative analysis and undergraduate chemical research. With 35 years of professional experience, he attributes his success to his teaching and research skills and passion for chemistry.
Additionally, Dr. Carney is involved with the development of a free education program at his church, Hill Of The Lord Ministries; it uses a library of DVD and CD programs for various areas of study, including mathematics, social and natural sciences, computer technology, business, several foreign languages and religion. Offering general education development test preparation, the program caters to high school and adult level students:
Dr. Carney serves as chairman for Hill of the Lord Ministries college scholarship program.
In 1971, Mr. Carney earned a Ph.D. from the University of Arkansas; his dissertation was on the calculation of vibration rotation spectrum of H3+1, a molecular ion which has since been identified in the laboratory, dense clouds in interstellar space and in atmospheres of Saturn and Jupiter. In the future, he hopes to improve the laboratory facilities and experiments of his college. Dr. Carney also intends to further develop the education program at his church, transforming it into a private religious college.
