David L. White to Be Profiled in Exclusive Registry
David L White celebrates 12 years as a senior project manager for Boeing
EVERETT, WA, July 06, 2010 /Engineering PR News/ -- David L. White, Senior Project Manager for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in project management.
With 12 years of experience as a senior project manager, 22 years of experience at Boeing and more than 28 years in the aerospace industry, David L. White is responsible for managing a portfolio of engineering projects focused on engineering enabled design changes that once seamlessly implemented and integrated into the manufacturing cycle will reduce the overall cost to design, procure, manufacture and assemble large twin aisle aircraft models including the 747, 767 and 777.
He became involved in the Aerospace industry due to influences from his stepmother, father and grandfather who were also involved in aerospace as engineers, business administrators or private pilots, one during WWII with the Civil Air Patrol. He attributes his success in this field to his love of flight, dedication to quality, integrity and hard work.
Mr. White has earned a certificate of proficiency in Machine Tool Technology, an Associate of Arts degree in Business Management, a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Capella University (graduating Summa Cum Laude) and has a Master's Certificate in Project Management from Stevens Institute of Technology as well as an advanced professional certificate in Project and Program Management from Stanford University. He holds a certification as a Stanford Certified Program Manager (SCPM). Mr. White also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) credential through the Project Management Institute (PMI). He continues his academic thirst for knowledge and is enrolled in the Master of Science in Leadership degree program at Walden University, and expects to graduate in December of 2011.
