Prior to his founding of Sympalys, Jean-Pierre was responsible for the management of the Intellectual Property Department of a major European agrochemical group. He then served as an examiner, President of Opposition Divisions and attache to the Board of Appeal at the European Patent Office. Mr. Forte was also appointed as an expert within the framework of the creation of the ASEAN Patent Office, and he practiced in Canada in one of the most important law firms dealing with intellectual property.
Jean-Pierre is fluent in four languages. He possesses exceptional expertise in the areas of intellectual property and technology. He has been published and has lectured on numerous occasions. During his educational career, Mr. Forte graduated as a chemical engineer and as an IP adviser. He is a member of the Chemical Engineers Society of Quebec and is actively involved in serving the community.
