Industry Leader Derek Duncan Added to the Cambridge Who's Who Network
Derek Duncan is a Chartered member of the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI)
CHICAGO IL, June 23, 2010 /Engineering PR News/ -- Derek Duncan (CAHRI), Vice President of Human Resources for the global Integrated Supply Chain at McCain Foods Limited, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in human resources.
With 17 years of HR professional experience, Mr. Duncan specializes in talent development, organizational design and general human resources management. He oversees recruitment and development for a multi functional global team. The company manufactures frozen food products including French fries, appetizers, pizza, vegetables, juices and ready to eat frozen meals.
In 1975 Mr. Duncan obtained his Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of New South Wales (Aus). He later completed a Graduate Diploma in Business at the University of Ballarat (Aus). After completing his undergraduate degree he worked in the electricity supply sector and mining sector before commencing with Mars Incorporated. During his time there he was asked to move into a senior human resources position in recognition of his people management and organizational skills.
Prior to his current role as vice president, he was the Director of HR for McCain Foods Australia/New Zealand. He attributes his success to his ability to take commercial business perspective to HR issues.
