International Tank & Pipe Co. is a Northwestern based manufacturer and installer of wood storage tanks, wood pipe and flumes. Their tanks and pipes are made of Douglas Fir, Redwood or Cedar for uses in the pulp and paper, mining, chemical and food processing industries, hydroelectric projects, pollution control, water storage and transmission application. International Tanks are corrosion, abrasion, acid and alkali resistant. They also provide testing and inspection services.
International Tank and Pipe Co. was established in 1904. The plant soon became the first in the industry to make continuous wood pipe out of staves and wire wound pipe longer than eight feet per section. Their tanks have been sold in all 50 states, Japan, Germany, Canada, South America, Indonesia, Greenland, Tahiti, Australia and numerous other countries. The company has an exceptional record of safe, efficient, professional and expert installation.
During his educational career, Michael earned a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Oregon State University. He is a licensed Professional, Civil and Structural Engineer. Mr. Bye is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. In the time away from his busy schedule, he greatly enjoys golfing.
