During his educational career, Russell earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Air Conditioning, from the University of Oklahoma in 1938. He has lectured and been published on numerous occasions. Mr. Sigler is also known for his extraordinary service to the community and has been the recipient of awards for his service in the Army Air Corps.
