Welding College Partners Are Attached To Stanford Who's Who
Bill Mandris and Gail McCallum have been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who due to their exceptional effort in the Education Industry.
BARRIE, ON, CANADA, May 28, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Bill Mandris and Gail McCallum have been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who due to their exceptional effort in the Education Industry. With Bill serving as President and Gail as Vice President of Northern Ontario Welding College Inc., they have consistently displayed the vision, dedication and diligence required to be among the best.
Northern Ontario Welding College is a private career college registered with the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities since 2001. They specialize in welding, pressure pipe welding, blue print reading and trade math. Their mission is to develop and train each student to reach his/her full potential and gain employment in the very exciting welding trade that offers endless possibilities for their future.
The school offers individualized training which allows students to train at their own rate in their own welding program. The training is approximately 85% hands-on in individual welding booths with modern equipment. The graduation rate of the institution is approximately 97% with an employment success rate of about 95%. Northern Ontario Welding College actually prepares resumes and monitors the job market to ensure their graduates have as many opportunities as possible for employment in the welding trade.
Bill Mandris has spent the majority of his life in the welding industry. He apprenticed in Alberta and attained his Pressure Ticket and Journeyman Tickets there. Mr. Mandris is a Red Seal Journeyman. Bill has many years of practical as well as teaching experience including working in the Alberta oil fields, refineries, production, construction and teaching.
Gail McCallum retired from the Halton District School Board after 30 years of service that included Adult Education, Office Manager and Field Supervisor Plant Operations. She manages the college office including advertising and accounts.
Northern Ontario Welding College is part of the Canadian Welding Bureau Center, TSSA Testing Center Association of Private Welding Careers and Colleges of Ontario. They received a Barrie Chamber of Commerce Service Excellence Award. Bill and Gail participate in numerous job fairs and perform public speaking engagements about the trade.
