Stefany Gonzalez-Velasquez tutors students in math and chemistry at Bergen Community College
LYNDHURST, NJ, April 12 2010 /Engineering PR News/ --Stefany Gonzalez-Velasquez, Tutor at Bergen Community College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in educational support services.
A graduate of Bergen Community College, Stefany Gonzalez-Velasquez is thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to her alma mater. For the past year, she has been assisting students as a tutor, specializing in mathematics and chemistry. A consistent honor student at Bergen, she was included in the National Dean's List and earned her associate degree in engineering science in 2008. She attributes her success to her determination and dedication, and to the support of her parents.
Mrs. Gonzalez-Velasquez is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa, Tau Beta Pi, and Delta Epsilon Iota. In three years, she hopes to obtain her master's degree and, eventually, her Ph.D.
