Matthew B. Devitt showcases professional brand through Cambridge Who's Who
ROCK SPRINGS, WY, February 22, 2010 /Engineering PR News/ -- Matthew B. Devitt, EIT, Project Engineer for the Engineering Department of JFC Engineers & Surveyors, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of his career.
Mr. Devitt has five years of professional experience as a project engineer with JFC Engineers & Surveyors. He specializes in conducting hydrology and hydraulics analysis for water distribution systems, sanitary sewer systems and storm water runoff and drainage systems. He is responsible for designing and inspecting construction projects and performing inspections. In addition, he has extensive experience in sanitary sewer systems, storm water runoff and drainage systems as well as highway, structural and soil engineering.
With an interest in the construction industry, Mr. Devitt's experience includes general site design, grading and soil quantities, structural steel fram design and structural inspections for residential properties. He also possesses professional experience in railroad design and energy services including hydraulics and hydrology including water distribution design, sanitary sewer design and open channel drainage design. Dedication, hard work and a positive attitude are what he considers to be the driving forces behind his success and Mr. Devitt considers the highlight of his career as being the completion of his first construction project as an engineer. As he moves forward in his career, he plans to obtain a professional engineer license and own his own consulting firm.
An engineer in training, Mr. Devitt holds certification in AutoCAD Civil3D and received his bachelor of science in engineering from the University of Wyoming in 2003. He is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and is a volunteer for the Annual Mathcounts Competition.
