Ross Davis celebrates nearly 30 years in the engineering industry
TEMPLE, NH, October 4, 2010 /Engineering PR News/ -- Ross Davis, Manufacturing Engineer for Markem-Imaje, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in manufacturing engineering.
With 29 years of professional experience, Mr. Davis is a manufacturing engineer for Markem-Imaje. His responsibilities entail overseeing manufacturing processes and procedures, ensuring quality of products, managing maintenance of machines and developing efficient ways to build and test assemblies. Markem-Imaje provides marking and coding equipment, industrial ink jet printer, laser printer, thermal printer, high-speed ink jet equipment, and label and radio-frequency identification-based systems.
Mr. Davis received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Science, with a Major in Electronics, from Fitchburg State University in 1982. Formerly, he served as the president of the Monadnock Chapter of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. He became involved in his position after gaining experience as a senior systems engineer at Wang Laboratories, Inc., and he attributes his success to his personal drive. In the future, he intends to develop best products and world class processes. He would also like to continue sourcing products with Dover Corporation.
