Dominick Yodice Honored by Cambridge Who's Who

Dominick Yodice received a master of science in electrical engineering

    PALM COAST, FL, January 28, 2010 /Engineering PR News/ -- Dominick Yodice, Retired Reliability and Maintainability Engineering Group Leader for the Airborne Instruments Laboratory, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in engineering.

With 42 years of experience in his field, Mr. Yodice worked for the Airborne Instruments Laboratory for 28 years. He was also employed by the Fairchild Camera and Instrument Corporation. Mr. Yodice worked on the optical navigation system for the Apollo spacecraft and the video control systems for the International Space Station and reconnaissance system for the SR-71 Blackbird spy plane and B-18 bomber. He attributes his success to his ability to analyze problems and identify solutions that satisfy both the customer and government. He established a spares provisioning and shop load forecasting system for Pan-Am for their fleet of 747 aircraft.

In 1963, Mr. Yodice received a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Power Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University. A Life Senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Mr. Yodice published his autobiography entitled, "A Story of Commitment, Persistence, and Faith." He volunteers his free time to the Church on the Rock, teaching Bible study classes.
