Hughes Environmental Wins Safety Award
Commercial duct cleaning company earns NADCA safety award.
LOUISVILLE, KY, May 20, 2010 /Engineering PR News/ -- Hughes Environmental, a commercial duct cleaning company based in Louisville, Kentucky, was named the recipient of the HVAC Inspection, Maintenance and Restoration Association's 2009 "Outstanding Safety Award". Winners of the Outstanding Safety Award have maintained little to no instances of employee injury for three or more consecutive years.
The requirements for the Safety Award is based on standards from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) .Companies who apply for the award must have completed OSHA #300A Log in accordance with requirements under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 and have met safety guidelines as stipulated by NADCA to receive the honor.
"We're very proud of this accomplishment. Having maintained an outstanding safety record for five consecutive years is something we are very proud of", said Garry Cronin, Vice President of Operation for Hughes Environmental. "This is just another example of how Hughes Environmental knows the importance of safety on the job." Cronin also explains that employees of Hughes Environmental are also required to complete CPR Training and complete routine background checks and drug screenings.
