Mr. Willborn has 20 years of professional experience in operations and business development in the drilling fluids and environmental sectors of the upstream oil & gas exploration industry. This includes all facets of the drilling process from fluids engineering, materials and personnel management to vendor and contract management. He first worked as a roughneck during the summers while in college then began his career after graduation working as a drilling fluids engineer offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. He then worked as a third party contractor at ARCO and BP in Houston, did some sales and worked in the environmental (exploration and production) GoM waste management sector of the industry. Mr. Willborn also works for the president of AGR and attributes his success to his commitment and hard work. In 1993, he received his Bachelor of Science from Texas State University. He is a member of the American Association of Drilling Engineers and the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
