Dr. Koukoulas has held a variety of teaching position throughout his working career.

    BOSTON, MA, April 9, 2009 /Engineering PR News/ -- Alexander Koukoulas, Ph.D., Managing Director and Senior Consultant for ANL Consultant, L.L.C., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating leadership, innovation, and excellence in R&D and new technology development.

With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Koukoulas has worked in a variety of sectors during his professional career including: pulp & paper science and engineering, new technology and product development, bioenergy and advanced biofuels.

Prior to establishing ANL Consultants LLC, a company focused on providing expert technical and business development services, Dr. Koukoulas worked in the pulp and paper industry spending 10 years as Chief Scientist and Director of Research for International Paper. He also held several senior technology positions for the world's largest supplier of paper machine clothing and industrial textiles, and Canada's premiere pulp and paper research center. Dr. Koukoulas has held a variety of teaching position throughout his working career working as an adjunct professor for the department of wood and paper science at North Carolina State University, department of chemical engineering at McGill University and department of physics at Marianapolis College. Dr. Koukoulas attributes his success to his core science and engineering background, breadth of national and global experience, and his strong business management skills.

Dr. Koukoulas holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and holds executive certificates from the MIT Sloan School of Business. He is a proven innovator with commercial and product technology success, and has an extensive publication and patent history. Dr. Koukoulas is a member of the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge, the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry (TAPPI), the Pulp and Paper Technical Association of Canada (PAPTAC) and the Scientific Research Society, Sigma Xi.
