Matthew Devitt, EIT Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Project Engineering

    ROCK SPRINGS, WY, January 6, 2009 /Engineering PR News/ -- Matthew Devitt, EIT, Project Engineer with JFC Engineers & Surveyors, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of project engineering.

Mr. Devitt has five years of professional experience as a project engineer with JFC Engineers & Surveyors. He specializes in conducting hydrology and hydraulics analysis for water distribution systems and is responsible for designing for construction projects and performing inspections. In addition, he has extensive experience in sanitary sewer systems, storm water runoff and drainage systems as well as highway, structural and soil engineering.

With an interest in the construction industry, Mr. Devitt saw an opportunity to become involved in his profession. Dedication, hard work and a positive attitude are what he considers to be the driving forces behind his success. The highlight of his career was seeing the completion of his first construction project as an engineer.

An engineer in training, Mr. Devitt holds certification in AutoCAD Civil3D and received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Wyoming in 2003. He is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and is a volunteer for the Annual Mathcounts Competition.
