Engineering Services Network of Arlington Joins U.S. Chamber of Commerce as It Grows Abroad

ESN Business News

ARLINGTON, VA, December 19, 2008 /Engineering PR News/ -- Engineering Services Network Inc. (ESN), a trusted leader in engineering and technology solutions, announced today that it is joining the U.S. Chamber of Commerce as the company expands its role internationally.

ESN is an IT and business consulting company, based in Arlington, VA, that specializes in military and government contracts. ESN does business with Guam and overseas and is joining the chamber - a business organization that works on issues such as privatization, procurement, national security and international expansion.

"ESN is honored to become a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which represents more than 3 million businesses of all sizes, sectors and regions in the U.S. and internationally, and to help promote prosperity and opportunities here in our community and overseas," said Raymond F. Lopez Jr., president and CEO of ESN, a service-disabled, veteran-owned company.

"Being part of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce offers an unparalleled opportunity to build relationships with decision-makers and other business leaders as ESN grows in the international arena," Lopez said.

Founded in 1995, ESN is an IT and business consulting company specializing in military and government contracts. Its customers include the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps, Military Sealift Command, Department of Health and Human Services and other federal agencies.

Inc. magazine named ESN one of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. this year and among the top 100 fastest growing defense contractors in the U.S. last year.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world's largest business federation. It includes hundreds of associations, thousands of local chambers and 111 American Chambers of Commerce in 99 countries.

"ESN especially looks forward to all the opportunities the chamber offers to nurture and build a strong economy," Lopez said. "We can help create opportunities here and abroad by establishing relationships with other business leaders and building on our individual strengths."

The chamber's core mission is to fight for business and free enterprise. Chamber members include businesses of all sizes and sectors, from large Fortune 500 companies to home-based, one-person operations. In fact, 96 percent of chamber membership encompasses businesses with fewer than 100 employees.
