Cordless Liquid Level Alarms Go Wireless

Gimzo Engineering battery powered liquid level alarms, now available with a wireless transmitter and receiver to communicate the status of tank levels up to 1000 m away.

ROCHESTER, NY, December 20, 2008 /Engineering PR News/ -- Now you know your tank is empty at the tank, and away from it too. When a high level or low liquid level condition exists in a tank or drum, the Tank Alarm or Drum Alarm beeps and flashes, and also transmits an RF signal to a remote base station located up to 100m away. (1000m range available) Both the level alarm at the tank, and the remote base station sound an audio alarm when the liquid level is low or high. Both can be battery powered or use an AC adapter. The base station includes a 10A relay to activate pumps or other equipment when a liquid level alarm is given.

The liquid level alarm and transmitter require no passive power drain while standing by, and so lithium batteries can last for up to 10 years, or 50 hours of continuous alarming! The alarm volume is 103 dB at 2 feet and it has a warbling tone that allows it to cut through the noisiest environments.

The Tank Alarms and Drum Alarms are built from the ground up for corrosive environments and rough handling. Polypropylene (float switch) is protected inside a PVC housing. Easy to install, just attach to your tank - no wiring.

It neatly solves the problem of having tanks or drums run empty, at an economical price.
