Mr. Petruzzelli has 30 years of professional experience and 16 years of experience with EchoStar Communications/EchoStar Technologies, a digital media equipment company. His expertise lies in communications and satellite systems, payload and microwave circuit design, radio frequency, and fiber optics satellite system analysis. Mr. Petruzzelli became involved in his profession because of his fascination with radio frequency transmissions. The recipient of three awards for his patents, he attributes his success to his work ethic and to the support he received from his mentors.
A graduate of Clarkson University, Mr. Petruzzelli received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1978. He is affiliated with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Consumer Electronics Association, and counts the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, the Humane Society and his local animal shelter among his favorite charities. He aspires to rise to the position of vice president and take on more responsibilities in research and development.
