With more than 40 years of professional experience, 15 of which have been in his current position, Dr. Darie's expertise lies in power systems engineering. As vice president, he oversees administration and is responsible for electrical energy distribution, ensuring quality, managing projects, working on software applications, and developing strategies. His interest in software engineering inspired him to become involved in his profession.
Dr. Darie previously worked as a professor of electrical engineering at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca for more than 30 years and has constructed 18 prototype designs for mass production. A recipient of the Professor of Electrical Engineering Award, he maintains a consistent level of success as a result of his hard work and self-motivation. A registered professional engineer in Romania, South Africa and New Zealand, Dr. Darie received his Ph.D. from the University of Bucharest in 1974.
